The University College Hospital has released a blueprint for Sexual Harassment Policy in the hospital environment. The Blueprint is the brainchild of THE COMMITTEE DEVELOPING BLUEPRINT FOR UCH SEXUAL HARASSMENT POLICY. The committee has called for the support of the hospital community which majorly constitutes students and staff.
The blueprint includes;
Gathering information and data for policy development
Gathering evidence for effective strategies
Undertake consultations
Set out the vision, values, principles and objectives of the policy
Determine the areas for action
Identify and specify the roles and responsibilities of all stakeholders and sectors
Disseminate the policy
Implement the policy with monitoring and evaluation processes in place.
