The meeting started at 9:20am at the Fawemo Common Room, Alexander Brown Hall, University College Hospital, Ibadan. Seventy-one congressmen and women were present. Seven notices of absence were received. The Congress had an orientation session facilitated by Dr. Omotosho, the senate chairman of  UIMSA for the 2014/2015 tenure.
