The Federation of African Medical Students’ Association (FAMSA) has postponed her General Assembly and Scientific Conference scheduled to hold between 11th and 15th of November, 2019. The event which is the 33rd edition has been postponed till further notice.
When asked about the reason for the postponement, the monitoring and evaluation board stated financing, sponsorship and publicity as some of the major reasons.
The event is to be hosted by the Kenyatta University and Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology both in Nairobi, Kenya. Remember, that the previous edition which was hosted by the University of Ibadan in November 2018, was colourful and still very much talked about till present. Little wonders, the huge longing and anticipation for the coming edition on the part of students.
Whatever the case may be, we hope the organisers of this approaching edition buckle their belts and put all hands on deck, so that the world can witness another wonderful Conference organised by young brilliant minds.
