Moving Forward

Everyone wants to “make it” in life. For a good number of people, that means making lots of money. Some people get impatient because they see their mates balling or they get broke shamed. This leads them to do money rituals or get involved in financial crimes. But more often than not, this doesn’t end well. They usually get caught or they die prematurely.

Truth is, there will always be pressure. Some people will always be ahead of you. Someone has to be in front at all times and no matter how far you come, you’d always be behind someone. But this shouldn’t concern you. We’re not all running the same race. Stop needlessly comparing yourself with others. Yes, competition is good, but like everything else in life, too much of it is unhealthy.

What you should do, is set goals with reasonable timelines for yourself and work towards achieving them. Befriend people who share your passions and strike up a healthy competition with them. The most important thing is that you do not stay stagnant but instead keep moving forward, preferably at a pace with which you are comfortable.
