The 16th Edition of the annual B.O. Osuntokun Inter Level quiz competition promises to be an interesting one this year. Set to hold today, 2nd March, 2019, by 11:30am in Famewo Common Room, Alexander Brown Hall, it always showcases talents in medical students based on their wide span of knowledge in different spheres of life.

The changes noticed in this year’s edition are the premier participation of the newbies in Medical school (2k20 class), a new coach for the 2k15 class and the reshuffling of the 2k18 quiz team; and we expect more twists at the showdown today.

With different classes claiming bragging rights, UIMSA PRESS correspondent spoke to some of the coaches of the teams and they had this to say:

2k20 Coach :

All through history, our set has had the highest number of 4 points, we have the best of the best of brains and our reps are the best of the best. We are always ready for every hurdle and ever ready to cross it. The fact that we are fresh bloods sums up everything; our knowledge and ability to retain knowledge faster than the shake of a lamb’s tail. We are sure, with our formidability and ability to retain knowledge, of going head to head with our seniors who also double as our competitors and coming out tops.

2k17 Coach :

Despite busy schedules, intense postings and the bulk of our concentration being our incoming MB;BS part II exam, we have no doubt in our ability to deliver.

2k16 Coach :

I think my team is a balanced one and the players are dogged and quite strong. We stand a chance to win because in spite of our busy postings, we have been trying our best to prepare and get ready. Actually, we’ve started preparing for quite some time. I just hope and pray the questions we pick favour us and that we win tomorrow.
