On the 7th of August DOKITA, Editorial board hosted its 10th edition of the O.O Akinkugbe Inter Medical School Quiz competition (Eastern Region battle).Schools from various Eastern parts of Nigeria were present
The battle between the participating schools; the University of Nigeria Medical Student Association(UNNMSA), Ebonyi State University College(ESUC), and Nnamdi Azikiwe University Medical Student Association(NAUMSA), kicked off at 10 am on zoom and was open to the public with up to 30 people in attendance.
The quiz master Ogooluwatan Odefemi read out the questions for each section prepared by the board members that covered a vast range of topics from Basic Medical Sciences, Pathology and Pharmacology, Surgery, Internal Medicine, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and others
The competition went on smoothly for hours with the University of Nigeria Medical Student Association(UNNMSA) emerging as the ultimate winner and Nnamdi Azikiwe University Medical Student Association(NAUMSA) coming out as the 1st runner up.
