It’s that time of the year again when so much laughter, celebration and enjoyment abound. This is no different for our 2k14 colleagues who basked in the euphoria of joy, when the news broke out that the would be convocating on Monday, 12 November 2018. The convocation is long overdue considering that they spent about an extra 10 months after the 6 years of medical training they signed up for. The event is set to be a congregation for the award of non-degree diplomas in the Faculties of Arts and Science and admission to First Degrees in the Faculties of Arts, Science, Basic Medical Sciences, Clinical Sciences, Public Health, Dentistry and Law.
The commencement keynote address is set to be given by Prof. Funmi Olopade OON (Alumna 1974) from University of Chicago, USA. The event is set to hold at the International Conference Centre, University of Ibadan, Ibadan by 10:00am.
Highlight of the event is deemed to be the presentation of laurels to deserving students of the University with Oboli Godspower and Adekola Ridwan being the Best Graduating Students of Medicine and Dentistry respectively. Below is the link to the list of laurels:
