Dr. Strange is being released tomorrow and here are a few things you should know about before you see it

WANDAVISION: This is probably the most important thing to see before it. In WandaVision, Wanda uses chaos magic to create a Sitcom reality in Westview, trapping the inhabitants in her own version of reality. There she meets Agatha Harkness, the apparent villain of the series. Although the same could be said about Wanda seeing as she’s holding the citizens of Westview hostage. Agatha tells her she’s the Scarlet Witch. She eventually defeats Agatha, releases the people of Westview and goes on to study the Darkhold. Wanda is expected to play a prominent role in Multiverse of Madness

WHAT IF?: What If, chronicles different, seemingly independent tales of what could happen if certain events occur differently in the MCU. Uatu, the Watcher, shows us how things could pan out had things not turned out in the manner they did. However, these “separate” tales culminate in a big fight, where all the heroes introduced throughout the course of the series partake in a battle against an Ultron who has the power of the Infinity Stones and wants to take over the Multiverse. Dr. Strange Supreme is also introduced here and he is expected to make a return in Multiverse of Madness.

LOKI: Remember in Endgame, when the Avengers dropped the Tessaract in the past and Loki uses it to escape, yeah, that’s where this series picks up from. Loki is apprehended by the TVA (a group of people who work in order to keep a single timeline). He later ends up working for them in a bid to catch….. himself. Well, not exactly himself, loki from another reality. Loki ends up double crossing the TVA and works together with himself, who is a woman named Sylvie, to find the leader of the TVA. They eventually succeeded and Sylvie ends up killing him.

The X-Men: Since Disney now owns Fox, all the copyright issues that have been preventing us from seeing the X-Men in the MCU have now been settled. Professor X is expected to make an appearance in Multiverse of Madness as an Illuminati member. We have no idea yet what form he will take, old or young, or if Reed Richards of the Fantastic Four should also be expected. However, from here on out we should see more of the X-Men. Deadpool 3 is also going to be an MCU movie.

And of course, Spiderman, No Way Home: This is the movie that directly precedes Dr. Strange: Multiverse of Madness  and Strange himself plays a prominent role, inadvertently opening up a hole in the Multiverse and bringing Tobey Maguire’s and Andrew Garfield’s Spidermen into the MCU together with their villains.

You should watch all of the above, or at the very least read up extensively on them, as you may be lost watching Multiverse of Madness if you don’t.
