The Independent National Electoral Commission Office in Qua’an Pan Local Government Area of Plateau State, on Saturday 9th February, 2019 was completely burnt down. Osaretin Imajiyereobo, Head of Department Voter Education and Publicity in Plateau confirmed the fire outbreak in a statement on Sunday, 10th February. ASUU STRIKE: NANS ANNOUNCES BOYCOTT OF 2019 ELECTIONS

The National Association of Nigerian Students has announced plans to boycott the 2019 elections over the lingering strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU.
